St. Louis Cardinals CF Jon Jay Makes the Defensive Gem of Young Postseason

St. Louis Cardinals centerfielder Jon Jay is probably quite sore this morning. He probably doesn’t care. Making an all-time great postseason catch can have effect.

Jay’s incredible play yesterday came in the sixth inning of a 12-4 victory and featured an all-out sprint into the left-centerfield wall. Somehow, he was able to hang onto the Danny Espinosa drive, keeping momentum on St. Louis’ side and cementing his place next to former Redbirds great Jim Edmonds.
