The Stunning Art of Nacho Ormaechea Imagines The Internal Portals To People’s Souls
This is great stuff right here. Parisian artist Nacho Ormaechea’s digital collages are like looking into someones soul to see who they really are, what they are truly thinking, and where they'd rather be. Like a portal into another time and place, these images give us a glimpse of the internal thoughts that we’re all thinking to ourselves in silence, each and everyday. Not only meticulously skilfully created, beautifully construed and imaginatively stimulating, this slideshow of Nacho Ormaechea's work does what any great art does and gets the gears in our all-too-underused brain spinning.
Straight from the source, here is some more information on the artist:
My name is Nacho Ormaechea and I’m a freelance Art Director and Graphic Designer working in Paris since 2001. I collaborate with several cultural organizations and important French and foreign institutions.
My days, and I guess some of yours too, are full of overflowing information invading my computer: clients mails, briefs, social-networking and too much visual material meant to "nourish our inspiration". Sometimes we feel we just need to STOP, take a deep breath and THINK. Looking for creative freedom without specifications or deadlines or budgets, only a strong desire to create for the need to express.
A café au lait in one hand… LE CARNET NOIR becomes the white pages where I note down all the thoughts and images that cross my mind. Some of them will end up in a trash eventually but others will become a great source of inspiration and grow as these personal graphic projects
I hope some of them will inspire you as well !
