They Finally Got Her, “Cocaine Godmother” Gunned Down

We can all go asleep a little easier tonight. One of the most terrifying villains to ever walk the Earth has finally been dispatched by the cold vengeful hand of justice. The "Cocaine Godmother" is to be feared no longer!

When you think of YOUR grandmother, fond memories come to mind. The smell of her special chocolate chip cookies or the weird pajamas she got you for Christmas. Chances are your grandmother wasn't soakin' the streets in blood and slingin' blow. The same can't be said for all grandmas though. Griselda Blanco, dubbed the "Cocaine Godmother" spent 2 decades behind bars in an American prison for drug trafficking and murder charges. She even had responsibility in the slaying of a 2 year old boy.

Needless to say, she wasn't your sweet rosey-cheeked mammy. While in her hometown of Medellin, Blanco was shot in the head by 2 motorcycle gunman who approached her as she exited a butcher shop.  Blanco had made a long list of enemies during her tenure as a murderous druglord. The woman was linked to a submachine gun massacre that rocked Miami in the late 70's. She was a bad, bad nanna. Her terror is finally at an end, our nightmares will no longer be haunted by the evil carrot cake of the "Cocaine Grandmother"
