Some Amazingly Artistic Cartographic Overlays
A design and technology studio out of San Francisco has created some rather beautiful alternatives to the plain vanilla Google Maps. Don't expect to get mass transit directions, but you may just find yourself browsing around for quite awhile.
There are three different skins so far: Toner, Terrain and Watercolor. Watercolor is where it's at.
